Who is the person who told you about your view of the world - do they really have the authority to make a judgement call about you like that? You don't have to tell me, but in most situations, people who say stuff like that about other people are not being genuine. I'm a 25 year old stutterer, a female. I find it hard to talk to people I find attractive because my anxiety goes up, and I'm worrying about how they're perceiving me. It sucks, and it's difficult. I also have word blocks, so I know how you feel. It sucks feeling stuck when you want to talk to someone. I wish I had better advice to give you, but I truly find that focusing on breathing and almost faking a false sense of confidence can make a big difference. But it takes practice! Edit: I just wanted to add, feel free to message me. It's hard being an adult with a stutter. If you want to chat, I can try to offer some more advice!
