Just another day of stuttering This is my first post here and I think I need to vent.. sorry :( I'm 21[M] and studying in a university. Yesterday we were sitting for a new class. The professor was new and didn't know our names so everyone had to stand up, tell our names and the place from where we were from. I was sitting in the third row, and felt instant rush of adrenaline for a second. It's like when an angry dog barks at you out of nowhere and you feel a sudden surge of anxiety, yeah it was something like that. I kept rehearsing the lines in my head and breathed in and out. My name starts with a 'Ha' and it's kinda rare that I stutter with that. So my turn comes and I stood up and that's when I fucked up lol. I kept trying to say ha for 5 seconds and then finally I stopped, took a quick breath and started with 'My name is' and then I did not stutter this time. Nevertheless it's clear that the professor knows I stutter and it was embarrassing how I couldn't even say my own name. At this rate , the chances of cracking an interview is very low for me I guess. Thanks for your time :)
