During which situation did your stutter actually come in handy? I think shining a little bit of positivity on something that is very heavy on most of us is a good way to make it a little bit easier, so I can start. A couple of years ago I had an English presentation (isn't my first language), so I was really nervous since I stutter more when I speak languages that isn't my native language. The presentation day came and I wasn't as well prepared as I should've been, since I couldn't bear the anxiety, so I procrastinated. Anyways the presentation should have been between 7-9 minutes and I did it alone with the teacher, but it took almost 30 minutes. It was pure torture, but I passed with flying colours. How? When I didn't know what to say, I started to stutter so I could get some time to come up with I was going to say next. I did this several times and I am confident that without this technique I wouldn't have got an A on the assignment, because objectively I were really badly prepared. When did your stuttering come in handy? *Edit: Maybe without the stuttering I wouldn't have had that anxiety in the first place, but I thought it was funny that I could use my stuttering to my advantage for once haha.
