Seeking people who stutter in Toronto for brain stimulation study Research recruitment: take part in a study on developmental stuttering The Speech Fluency Lab at the University of Toronto is conducting a study on the use of transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) with adults who stutter. We are interested in learning how brain stimulation can help us understand the role of brain processes in developmental stuttering and how this may be useful in clinical practice. What: The study consists of two one-hour sessions in the lab during which you will be asked to do speech and nonspeech tasks while using tDCS. Compensation: Participants receive a $20 gift certificate for each completed session. Who: If you are a person who stutters between the age of 18 and 50 years, who is right handed and uses English as your primary language, you may be eligible to participate.
