I know some people on this subreddit don’t like this answer. It sounds like you need to work on acceptance. Your stutter may improve or it may not but either way life needs to go on. Therapy might be something worth your while. if you are worried you won’t get the most out of the hour due to stuttering then see if you can communicate via text or writing. I can promise you it won’t be the most awkward session the therapist has ever sat through. I try not to care what others think of me. Except for the people I love and the few people I need to make a good impression on. Like if I stutter on my coffee order I don’t give a damn what the barista thinks, if they laugh I just know they’re unkind and I move on.
