I also struggle in D’s but i try to look for a synonym to kind of replace that word or sometimes I add “so”, “um”, “ah” before D’s to release the word.  You can try also to prolong “so”, “um”, “ah” and get comfortable before the saying D word. This is just based on my experience, hopefully it can help you and others as well.
