Stuttering and pregnancy Females who stutter and have children, did your fluency get worse when pregnant? Since pregnant mine went from mild where some wouldnt know I stuttered unless they hangout with me for a period of time or I got unexpectedly caught in a block TO now my stutter is moderate with all knowing I stutter even if they meet me only briefly. If so does it go back to "normal" after or could this be my new normal????? For the first time I have found myself having to gasp for air after stuck on a word and the block never released or the blocks are not in just beginning of word with certain sounds but for each syllable. I worry about when I return to work as a school psychologist being able to facilitate the meeting and communicate effectively evaluation results to parents.
