This is what I hated most about school. I went from a Catholic grade school where I knew everyone for 8 years to a public high school where I knew no one. First class was with an old jackass teacher who wouldn’t let me sit down until I was able to get my name out. I stressed myself out so much that day I got shingles and had to miss the next 2 days or so. I dropped that first class (AP Geography) for an Art elective where I went on to have my favorite teacher in all 4 years of HS, so I guess it worked out in the end.
