My dad also stuttered until his 40's, and out of 4 siblings i was the only one to inherit it. yay me lol. I can relate to holding back, i remember so many occasions in elementary school where I knew the answer to questions when the other classmates were clueless, but I wouldn't dare raise my hand to answer the questions because of the embarrassment of my stutter
