My Dad would get irate with me and belittle me and he kept telling me to keep quiet. My Dad has finally accepted the fact that his son has a stutter. I’m almost 40 now and it was just recently that he accepted the fact. That put a lot more extra pressure on me, but my Grandma and Grandpa made sure I got the help I needed. They helped me out a lot. Don’t stress too much. I think my Dad was stressed out because he never had to deal with it and he didn’t know what or how to do support me. I have my bad days still, but I have a lot more good days. You got this!!!
