I had an interview for Disabilty allowance when I was 18 as I couldn't get a job. The interviewer asking what situations I find most different and I said speaking on the phone. And his response was PWS normally find it easier speaking on the phone. What bullshit. I left the interview in tears and my application was denied. Since then every PWS I have met had similar phone issues. I have career in accounting now where my stutter isn't much of an issue. I do mention when an interview is be arranged that I may need extra time due to my stutter.
