My name also starts with V, but I rarely have issues with pronouncing it because I’ve learned to work my way around it. Tips: 1. Try tricking your brain with when you’re going to say it - because the more you think about starting with V the more the chance of stuttering. For example, if your name is Veronica, you have different ways of saying it: It’s Veronica. My name is Veronica. Veronica, nice to meet you. I’m Veronica. 2. Try adding a soft voice before the name. I use it more frequently. For example: ahhhVeronica, where “ahh” is almost impossible to hear, it is just a jumpstart for the name. You can even say it clearly and loud or between the words, waterver is easier for you. It’s-ahh-Veronica. My name is-ahhh-Veronica 3. If you’re meeting another person repeat his/her name and then say your name. - David, nice to meet you. - David? I’m Veronica. Hope this helps :)
