Honestly buddy, I've had a stutter since I was literally in kindergarten, and I too have had my social life practically become a joke due to my inability to connect with conversations deeply. All I can do is say, "Yea, I agree.", or "How's it going." I can't make any quips or say anything funny to get friends or to make people WANT to be my friend. But as Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man would advise you, Don't Stop Pulling Your Punches. Don't Get Rageful. Don't Get Bitter. You have a problem, yep I am going that far. You have developed a stutter. I too have this problem. Having a problem is not a bad thing, everyone has problems. They key is to just accept it. Don't justify it, deny it, whatever. Accept as a part of you, even if you don't like it. Because that is life, it takes you up and down. Simply put live life and speak when you can or when you feel like it. Hopefully I don't sound like a jackass, but as a dude who has stammered for 16 years nonstop, being in denial of who you are is just setting yourself up for disappointment. Embrace and simply put just live with your stutter, and do what you love doing (i.e what you wanna do.)
