You’re spot on about using the diaphragm! It’s something called the “costal breath”, it’s the same breath used when you yawn! Also keeping eye contact if possible and like you say relaxing and just not really worrying about if you get stuck, it really does help. It’s never about fluency it’s more about being in charge, being able to control it!
