If you see me making italian hand gestures and saying "ummm... what was that word again?" repeatedly while trying to mouth and enunciate the first vowel of the word I'm trying to say. It's me stuttering, and it looks absolutely awkward lol. Quick story but I had this moment with a middle aged woman in the mall. Was trying to ask her for a price on one of her products and I was exactly doing what I wrote above. Her reaction? She chuckled at me innocently and smiled, waiting for me patiently. I absolutely felt no embarrassment from that interaction, and she seemed sweet as heck. Managed to ask her in the end and left pretty happy from that small but lovely interaction.
