I'm sorry this happened - some people don't realize how bad it feels to be called out while stuttering. When I was younger and this happened, I'd feel a sense of shame. It sucked. Hope the day turned out better afterwards and at least this interaction was with an insensitive substitute teacher that you're likely never going to see again.
