It’s definitely a multi-faceted approach, obviously address the proper way to speak to eliminate tensions, also ways to physically reduce tension; diet (low inflammatory diet), exercise, any supplements that may support (I’ve done Thiamin for years, seems to “help”) and the mental frameworks around stuttering are most important. I thought if could reduce my body tension by only 5% that would make an impact towards fluency over the next 5+ years. Which would mean more successful speaking and more positive reinforce of lets say “fluency neural pathways”. I remember once when practicing with a friend he pointed out that I forgot to stutter on one of my feared “T” words and he was right. I realized then since I didn’t think about it I didn’t stutter and it was a clue that it meant something. Also explains the being able to mostly (I would sometimes stutter alone) speak without stuttering alone or people I was more comfortable with. This was another indicated that I “could” mechanically speak fluently so there must something else going on.
