That is quite interesting; it's great to hear some personal experiences from people with Ankyloglossia as no one from my family or from school have the case. I also have that same exact issue where i prolong words and would sometimes brutally stutter my sentences. In my case, I prolong words beginning with vowels. The word "Economics" would end up being E-EEEEconomics when I speak it. So I guess Ankyloglossia does have some significant impact towards speech. I don't mind undergoing the adjusment period as long as I get rid of my stuttering. Anyways, I'll try to update in this subreddit once I undergo the procedure. Thank you for the info!
