I see no reason not to use text to speech technology. Why should I deliberately put myself in situations that I know will cause me psychological pain. It's not fair, I refuse. If there was a way to be mute. I'd go for it. It's not worth the pain. Loser's mentality? You can call it that. I don't care. I have the right to live my life the way I want, and with the cards I've been dealt, I have that much more right.
