I am so sorry that happened to you. And coming from a person who was supposed to be helping you, that is just deplorable. And I agree, the negative attitude towards stuttering has got to go. I can't tell you how many times people have asked me if I was stupid, retarded, broken, or having a stroke. I have a degree in Computer Science and I know I'm smart. And I'm a woman so there's also that barrier. Lol I chose a hard life but it is also rewarding!!
