As for the anxiety, you might need a support group/ therapist/ medication. As for travel, that is tricky. If you really long for it, you can always carry a pad of paper and pen. Just write things down. You'd be surprised how much this helps especially in a foreign country. If you are talking about travel locally, like public transportation and the such, you've got to just get through it. Most people in this world are nice and going through their own crap. And i hear you on stuttering on your name. I've considered a name change myself. Haven't done it and won't , but it's definitely a day dream.
