Hey! We talk about this all the time in the stuttering community I launched just a few months ago. It's the first Slack-based community specifically for professionals who stutter and is totally free to join ([www.stutterfreely.com](https://www.stutterfreely.com)). It's really hard to forget your stutter as a person who stutters. At the end of the day, it's who you are. This doesn't mean you should be thinking of your stutter all the time as that can build anxiety and make you stutter more. Instead, the key is to accept your stutter and disclose when necessary. At the end of the day, stuttering is just our accent and just like any other accent, we know it's there, but we don't think much about it because it's just the way we speak! So how do you build more acceptance? Well, a good first step would be to meet other people who stutter which joining my community will help you do. Cheers to personal growth :)
