Stuttering Salesman

Stuttering Salesman I just got hired at a car dealership a couple of weeks ago. I have to make tons of phone calls throughout the day. Everyday I dread coming to work because of my stutter (it literally looks like I’m choking when I get stuck and I can’t get the words out). Some people answer and I can’t get a peep out and then I hang up. Others don’t like it when I take long pauses when I try to explain things to them. Yesterday I wanted to quit cause I dread talking on the phone, but I can’t find another job at the moment. Anyone have any advice?
