“Our worst enemy looks at us each morning in the mirror.” I’m certain that you’re waaaaay better than you sometimes think! Stuttering too often chisels away at self-confidence, self-esteem, and happiness. But it shouldn’t. Don’t let it. Be yourself, smile, announce once that you stutter, and just go. Don’t ever apologize for stuttering or smiling. If you stutter or click or grimace you’re not messing up at all. As a crisis counselor you will be a great help to many people. Kudos to you!
