*Can* it affect dating? Sure. But so does height, weight, hobbies, world views, etc. Stuttering is just one more aspect to a long list of possible no-go's. Everyone is different and has different standards of what they look for when dating. To some, stuttering may be a deal breaker. I can guarantee you though most people don't care.
