GIVEAWAY: Fifty copies of my new book “Words Unspoken: The Science, Experience, and Treatment of Stuttering” Hello friends, I’m giving away 50 copies of my new book “Words Unspoken: The Science, Experience and Treatment of Stuttering.” In the book, I translate the latest academic findings on stuttering - neuroscience, treatment, genetics - into language a layperson can understand. These studies give tremendous insight on what the stutter is, and how to best go about managing it, whether your priority is greater fluency or greater freedom. I also share stories from my life that I’m sure many of you can relate to. If you would like a preview, you can find early drafts of certain chapters in my profile, including [the neuroscience of why blocks happen](https://www.reddit.com/r/Stutter/comments/pl522u/neuropathology_why_stutterers_brains_produce/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3), [short](https://www.reddit.com/r/Stutter/comments/pykg7q/quick_hits_what_the_research_says_about_improving/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) and [long](https://www.reddit.com/r/Stutter/comments/puk7u5/the_gameplan_putting_stuttering_research_into/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) versions of how to improve fluency, and [mental health statistics](https://www.reddit.com/r/Stutter/comments/mowfb0/stuttering_and_mental_health_the_statistics/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) on PWS versus fluent speakers. IMPORTANT: The giveaway is setup through Goodreads, **so you must have a Goodreads** **account**. This giveaway is only for Kindle editions of the book, but if you don’t own a Kindle you can always download the Kindle app on your phone and read the book that way. There are fifty books in the giveaway, so if you enter you will likely win, but **you must enter by next Friday May 26**. The drawing will be held sometime on the 26th. I hope you enjoy the book and find it very informative; If you do enjoy the book, one easy way to be helpful - and help raise awareness for stuttering - is to leave a review on Amazon. EDIT: There's actually quite a bit of entries, so it's definitely not guaranteed that you will get a copy, but it doesn't hurt to try! Thank you! If you have any questions or technical issues, let me know!
