Overcoming Stuttering: The Power of Practice # Hey everyone, As someone who stutters, I know how easy it is to fall into the habit of avoiding speaking altogether. We tend to escape situations where we have to talk because we're afraid of being judged. But here's the thing—practice is key to overcoming stuttering. And I want to share a step-by-step approach that has been helpful for me. Step 1: Start by hopping on voice calls with random people. There are plenty of websites that offer this feature. The goal here is to practice your speech without the fear of being judged. It doesn’t matter if you stutter—no one is going to judge you. Step 2: Once you're comfortable with that, I’d be more than happy to arrange a Zoom meeting where each of us can talk about something. Again, it doesn’t matter if you stutter because you will not be judged. This is a safe space for us to practice and improve. Step 3: Next, try practicing your speech with close friends and family. These are people who support you, so take advantage of that comfort to push yourself further. Step 4: Finally, take your practice to the next level by speaking with random people in real life. By this point, you’ll have built up your confidence, and you’ll start to realize that you’re overcoming your speech disorder. Remember, step by step, you'll get there. The key is to practice so much that speaking becomes your comfort zone. I’m here to support anyone who wants to join me on this journey. Let’s conquer stuttering together!
