Pharmacy tech in training. Been working in the pharmacy for 5+ years though 😊 Some days are worse that others, however my coworkers are really great and don’t make me feel bad when I have a bad day with stuttering. Most of the time they tell me they stumble on words, it’s part of working in the pharmacy since no day is going to be the same. That helps a lot! Performance wise not too bad since I’ve gained a lot of confidence even if I have to fake it (especially when training a new hire and talking for them to the pt) My stutter can range anywhere from not being able to say a drug name or even asking a pt to the verify their info to just a couple bumps in the road mostly over the phone. Any time I do stutter at work though after the conversation is over I take a deep breath, don’t let it get to me and bounce back with confidence and less anxiety☺️
