"speech isn't everything"...it's kinda hard to swallow that because reality is much much different. Yes people have no clue about us stutters, but no one can blame them, and it hurts that no one's really familiar with it. (When I went to school, you would thought that teachers know something about the topic, but all stutters got was just misunderstanding and mockery from kids and teachers, like they choose to have it.) I tried some speech therapy when I was kid.
