I have a moderate-to-severe stutter and I talk for a living (teacher). You can do it. Yes, it will be hard, discouraging, you'll have setbacks, you'll have terrible days, it isn't fair, etc. You [will probably] have to live with your stutter. It doesn't mean that your life has to be your stutter.
