It’s Always Sunny: S16E6 Let me start by saying I absolutely love this show. Most episodes are actually really well written and are hilarious on many levels. However, this episode they actually made fun of something relevant to me: stuttering. I do recommend watching the episode, it was otherwise pretty funny. I’ll sum it up: they go to a Chuck E Cheese knockoff for nostalgia, and all of the animal characters (people in rat costumes) are now more politically correct as compared to when the gang were kids. One of them used to have a stutter, and Dee was saying “no you could barely get words out!” She said this while heavily stuttering intentionally, and Frank drops a strong R-bomb. I didn’t feel offended, but a little self conscious. How do you feel when you see people stutter in movies/tv shows? Is there a way of adding it into a joke, without being demeaning?
