I just found this subreddit and have a question. (Not sure if these posts are allowed.) I’m 31 and have such a mild stutter you might know me for years before you even realize it. On rare occasions I have trouble starting a sentence. Typically words that start with a few certain letters. And USUALLY only if I have to repeat the sentence. I mostly avoid those letters all together to start sentences and have gotten really good at it over my life. It’s a once in a blue moon deal. But when it DOES happen it can take several seconds/attempts to repeat the phrase. Is this a true stutter? Or a “normal” stutter? I’ve dealt with it my entire life. When I was in elementary school I had to take speech therapy classes for the letter R. (Not sure if related in any way but I do know that’s a more common speech issue.) I just wasn’t sure if what I deal with was a common thing.
