I think more jobs turn me down due to my stutter I've been unemployed for 16 months due to the birth of my daughter. I had to relocate and quit my job and I'm pretty much starting over from scratch. I've had a few job interviews and I've been turned down. My work history and background are great. I have a very mild stutter that most people wouldn't notice. But sometimes when I slip up and stutter during an interview, I think they view me as nervous and unconfident and I end up getting turned down.
