I stutter and my husband doesn't. There is nothing like sharing my home with someone who doesn't care how I speak, who patiently waits for me to spit out whatever I'm stuck on, and doesn't make me feel broken or flawed. My job has me talking to people way more than I want to and it is such a relief to decompress in a place that I don't have to be "on" if I'm spent. As a person who stutters, all I want is to be treated like anyone else (and for hubs to place our take-out orders, because there ARE some things I just don't have the energy for). Keep on making your GF feel safe, supported and like the space you share is forever a judgment-free zone. It goes such a long way, both for her as a person and you as a couple.
