It can be really hard to come around to this (and I definitely am not in this headspace all the time), but we can be great communicators WHILE we stutter. There are lots of people who stutter who I know who communicate extremely well and stutter significantly. Doesn't have to be stuttering=bad communication. But it's tough for us to wrap our heads around that when society conditions us to believe that stuttering makes us worse at talking
