How do you guys feel about The phrases “I didn’t stutter” or “and they didn’t stutter!” being used to like… emphasize someone’s impact/statement as like a slang term? Some people who stutter don’t like it while others are okay with it Personally, it rubs me the wrong way bc I feel it’s attributing a negative connotation to stuttering and as someone who can not just simply not stutter, it kinda hurts But hey! Maybe I’m just sensitive and insecure about my stutter🤪
