I struggle more when what I'm saying is very planned and/or fixed. In fact speaking other languages was always harder at school as the extra mental processing made the vast effort needed to speak semi-fluently even more daunting. The HOW vs WHAT thing is very common for stammerers, and this linguistic gymnastics is very exhausting. May I ask why you dont want to speak in an accent? It seems like you could avoid the stutter if you spoke English with an accent. And unless your accent is very strong, it would be better for your communication! I'm English, so the fact you can speak another language is great!
