How to deal with social exclusion/ostracism in university?

How to deal with social exclusion/ostracism in university? Other students don't take me seriously and sometimes laugh at me because of my stutter, in general they excluse me from their social sphere. I'm trying to be really friendly and warm but it don't work. How to deal with this?
