I was 16 when I applied for the whole aed forces was told my stutter was a liability to my potential squad. I am 10 years older but the Army recruiter was great about it. Helped me pick a college, helped me through uni with guidance and I still chat to him once a year. He is now best mates with my dad and they swap vegetables from their gardens once a month.
