What exactly are you looking for here? Gaining fluency, gaining confidence, and reversing your avoidance of certain sounds are all very different things that will have very different advice, in my opinion. It's a bit unclear as to which of the three you are asking about. To me; Fluency concerns the actual impediment itself and the physical ability to pronounce certain sounds Confidence concerns how the impediment affects you psychologically in regard to your ability to interact with and speak to other people The third thing I described concerns how the impediment affects you psychologically in regard to what you choose to say and how you choose to say it. (Some may consider this a fluency technique. I guess it is sort of related to confidence and well. I see it as more of its own distinct issue though) Your post contains references to all three of these things. Which one do you seek to address?
