My school reports always said ‘quiet, almost to a fault’ and ‘doesn’t participate in discussions’ so I have been known to hide it. I’ve learnt to deal with it as I’ve got older so now I talk pretty comfortably to the point most people don’t realise I even have a stutter. It did take me decades to overcome it.
