Good to hear it's working (out) for you (no pun intended ;)). To be serious, it's also something that I \[M36, stuttering since childhood\] realized over the years and what is recognizable in many posts here in r/stutter. Going "out there" and just talking boosts self confidence and helps to deal with the fact that we stutter, ironically reducing the problem the more we are at ease with it. My personal highlight was last year, when I gave a scientific talk in front of 350 people while being live-translated in other languages. It went very well and when I got the feedback from the translators that I have a very calm and well-to-translate talking style it really made my day. Kidding, it made my whole year ;)
