I was in the Army for 8 years. 4 active infantry, then 4 in the reserves. The first question I asked my recruiter was if my stutter would effect my jobs as a soldier. He said it didn't, and he was absolutely right. You're going to get made fun of, but so is everyone else. Yeah you wont be on the radio or anything related to communications, but that's not a bad thing. Pro tip: As long as you know your shit, are in great shape, and respect others around you, you'll also be respected.
