There are definitely double standards for both men and women in dating/life in general but in my experience mild stuttering in girls isn't looked down as much as stuttering in men where its strongly associated with incompetence or low-confidence. Personally career promotions have been a bigger struggle for me than dating as stuttering and leadership material don't always go hand in hand.
