You’re absolutely right, sorry I didn’t acknowledge that part. There are people who will be fucked up and say things. However I have never encountered those people in my adult life. When my wife and I were just starting to go out, she would repeat/ mock my stutters but she never knew I struggled with a stutter. I remember I was so mad that first time she did it. I talked to her about it a few days later and she apologized and she told me she didn’t know I a had a stutter problem. EVERYONE stutters at some point and you’ll quickly realize that when someone “makes fun of you” for stuttering, they don’t mean it in a fucked up way. It’s just funny in general to laugh at someone who had a stutter moment. But for us who actually do have a stuttering problem, our world shatters when we get “made fun of”. That’s why I started to learn to not take things to heart. (Again, my stutter is not as bad. I only stutter with certain words so I know how to get around it.) That’s what I meant with my previous comment, hopefully it made sense
