Does it work for people with get blocked or stutter out of nervousness or ptsd in certain situations? Like I can be fluent with strangers in certain situations or saying certain things. But saying things like my name or talking on the phone most of the time I naturally tense up so badly I can't break the blocks/stuttering. I think it's because in my early life I had so many extremely embarrassing negative reactions to my stutter my brain naturally tenses up in certain situations even though I'm older & don't care much any more. It's like a deep rooted ptsd reaction. I wonder if this method can help break that cycle. But for me just hearing myself being fluent doesn't work for me, since I've practiced talking out loud fluently by myself for years. But when I'm in front of people I block right up. But maybe thus could work it's worth a try.
