I have struggled with stuttering my whole life, and it did not get better as I got older. I've been a professional wrestler for 15 years, and I am not one to acknowledge that I do stutter, nor do I just let it slip and say, "Oh well." So i very much try to hide it the best I can because of how self-conscious I am. One thing I've learned since being a wrestler and having to do promos and talk to the crowd is that the less I plan what I say, the more successful I am at not letting it slip. If I have pin points and just build on the fly, I can do pretty well. In wrestling, if I slip up, I can just quickly pick a different word or yell since yelling seems to help me get through a word. But in presentations, you can't really start yelling at people. Sorry for the long response, I'm just now discovering this community on here. But my suggestion would be to try and practice less and see if you can wing some of it. That might sound like bad advice, but when I try to plan something out in order to hopefully NOT stutter, it puts too much pressure on myself, and I end up doing horribly bad.
