This was huge for me. At some point I was just…sick of being angry about stuttering. I’ve had it my entire life and it wasn’t going anywhere and I was just tired of letting it upset me. So I just said alright, this is a part of me like my eyes are blue, and started working on genuinely not caring. Fast forward a few years and I’m much happier, still stutter, but stutter WAY less than I ever have in my entire life. Don’t get me wrong there’s still a lot about stuttering that continues to stink, but I’m no longer dwelling on it and just sort of accept it for what it is.
