Awkward when family members bring up someone else who stutters? So yesterday my mom was looking up Sam L Jackson (I’m not sure what caused her to do so). My dad was in the room as well. Anyways, I guess whatever site she was on (I’m not sure which) had a decent amount about his stutter. This includes the fact that someone (don’t remember who) recommend he start acting because of it, how he doesn’t stutter when he curses, etc. It made me feel awkward. I just wanted to tell her “stop! It’s annoying!” or something lol but I didn’t. I was curious if it’s the same for others.
