I deliver with SkipTheDishes in Canada and I just say a 4 digit number. I think with Uber Eats you’ll need to say the customers name.. if I ever get stuck saying a number, which so far it happened only once or twice, I just show them the number on my phone and it works just great. If you ever need to speak with a customer for extra directions (sometimes customers add a note that says “call when you arrive”, I honestly just text them and it has worked great, only 2 of them called out of 300 and I usually just say “hi” and they start speaking, I just go like “oh ok gotcha, bye” after they give directions). Worst case scenario you fucked up big time (you won’t) and you feel terrible, you just go home and relax cause you’re your own boss, no pressure :). Good luck, you got this.
